Technology-facilitated abuse (TFA) is a common problem teenagers face. In fact, in the United States, 1 in 4 teens is harassed or abused through technology. Teenagers are more impacted by this issue than any other age group. In this session, we will discuss the intricacies of technology-facilitated abuse including sexting, surveillance, and social media. Because this younger generation has never and will never live without technology, it is important to understand the different barriers teens face in seeking support when navigating abusive relationships.
