UCASA offers many training and education opportunities. The 40 Hour Advocacy Training is geared towards victim advocates, law enforcment, health care providers and other professions. It gives an overview of rape and sexual assault, teaches advocacy skills to work direclty with victims and meets the requirements of the Utah Confidential Communcations Act. UCASA also offers professional development trainings that are geared towards specific professions and focus on specific topics such as current research, best practices etc. Professional developments to match your agency's needs are available on request.
